Eitex win new Engineering IT Contract
Due to ongoing growth and expansion, Leeds-based mechanical engineering firm Beddis Kenley has seen a significant increase in its reliance on IT systems. With more PCs, more digital processes, and growing operational demands, the internal team recognised that managing their IT infrastructure was becoming increasingly complex.
We Needed to Outsource Our IT
Terry Beddis, part owner of the firm, explained:
“We were at a stage where we needed to outsource our IT—it simply became too big for us to manage. We shopped around and found many IT companies to choose from. Eitex were the first ones to respond.”
Despite not being familiar with Eitex initially, Terry and his team were quickly impressed by the company’s consultative and professional approach.
“Admittedly, we didn’t know who Eitex were, but their professional approach made us feel at ease. They took time to analyse our requirements, and several improvements were highlighted straight away—some of which could be made with minimal or no cost.”
Practical Improvements from Day One
The Eitex team began by performing a comprehensive assessment of Beddis Kenley’s systems, identifying key areas where IT could be streamlined, secured, and better supported. From basic efficiencies to longer-term infrastructure planning, early wins were found quickly—adding value from the start.
“Their knowledge and positive customer feedback gave us confidence to proceed with their IT support service,” Terry added.
A Promising IT Partnership
Eitex is proud to be supporting another ambitious local business and looks forward to a strong, long-term working relationship with the team at Beddis Kenley.
As companies grow, so do their IT needs—and Eitex is here to help every step of the way, offering reliable, responsive, and cost-effective solutions for businesses across the region.
